Greetings Hickory Enthusiasts,
The New England Hickory play groups cordially invite you to play in the second annual White Mountain Hickory Open. This event has been extended to two days, making it a new regional event on the New England hickory calendar. It will be held once again at the beautiful and historic Omni Mount Washington Resort on the 1915 Donald Ross-designed links. There will be gross and net prizes in each division (Open, Senior, Super Senior & Ladies).
Open Division – to age 59 or anyone who wants to compete in this division; Senior – 60-69; and Super Senior – 70 and over.

Tee times will begin at 10 a.m. sharp on Saturday and 9 a.m. on Sunday. A BBQ grill lunch buffet will follow round two during the awards ceremony. The entry fee for the event is $225 which includes: golf & cart for both days, lunch buffet following round two, and awards. For those interested in playing the course the day before, practice rounds will be available by calling the Omni Resort Golf Shop the week before the event. The fee for the practice round will be $20. A schedule of events for the weekend is as follows:
Friday, July 6
6 p.m. – meet and greet at the White Birch Inn of North Conway. Snacks and beverages will be served. An informal meeting to mingle and catch up with old friends and meet new friends. Address for the White Birch Inn is 54 Kearsarge Road, right in downtown North Conway.
Saturday, July 7
9:15 a.m. – Registration begins at the Omni Mount Washington Golf Shop
9:50 a.m. – Announcements prior to start of play
10 a.m.-noon – Tee times blocked off for the White Mountain Hickory Open
2:30-3:30 p.m.: – End of Round 1 – submit scorecards to the Golf Shop
3:30 p.m. – ? – Club swap / club display
Sunday, July 8
9 -11 a.m. – Tee times blocked off for the White Mountain Hickory Open
1:30-2:30 p.m. – End of Round 2 and lunch buffet in the Club House Tavern
2:30 p.m. – Award Ceremony
