The Friends of City Park in Baton Rouge, La., are hosting a one-day golf tournament to benefit the City Park Golf Course, designed in 1926 by Tom Bendelow. The $150 entry fee includes lunch and entry to the roaring Red Stick Gala after golf. A drawing has as its grand prize a two-night, three-day unlimited golf package for four at Bandon Dunes. The group hopes to have a large hickory golf component, so get your hickories if you are in the area, and have a fun day at City Park.
