The Warren Golf Course at Notre Dame
South Bend, Ind.
Join the Golf Collector’s Society and the Society of Hickory Golfers for the fifth annual tournament that will feature an Open Division, a Senior Division, a Statesman Division, and a Scramble Division. The cost is $65 per player (cart included), $50 per player (walker). Designed by Ben Crenshaw and Bill Coore, this links-style course is perfect for hickory play and will measure 5,300 yards. Lunch is on your own in the clubhouse snack shop and a brief awards ceremony will follow play. Non-members of the GCS and SoHG are encouraged to sign up.
There will be a Trade Fair in the clubhouse starting on Friday afternoon and again on Saturday. A limited number of tables are available on a first come, first served basis. The cost is $20 per table with proceeds going to the GCS Young Collector’s Grant Fund.
Special arrangements have been made with Notre Dame to provide an inside tour of Notre Dame stadium. This will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday and last about 90 minutes. The tour is complimentary and open to players and guests.
We have procured special boxed medals for the first place winners of the Scramble division. Last, we will have several door prizes.
Play the course that the Senior PGA tour players will play next year in the U.S. Senior Open.
Prizes will be awarded to:
• Low Gross Champion – Open Division • Low Gross Champion – Senior Division
• Low Net Winners (based on the sign-up) •Top 2-3 Scramble Teams based on entries.
• Closest to Pin •Long Putt
Hickory clubs will be available to rent at an additional cost of $15 per player (shared bag).
