The Northwest Hickory Players have announced that the Spokane Hickory Open will replace the Gamble Sands event in 2019. S.H.O. to be contested over two of the area’s finest courses, Indian Canyon designed by H. Chandler Egan (1930), and Downriver (1916). Special arrangements have been made to play Spokane’s oldest course, Kalispel GC, formerly Spokane CC. (1898).
The Spokane Hickory Open is planned to be 36 holes, 18 on Saturday and 18 on Sunday. Friday or Monday afternoon is your opportunity to play Kalispel CC.
New this is year is a professional hickory game, to be contested on Saturday, Sept. 21. The $75 fee includes dinner. There will be a cash payout, with an optional skins game. Hickory sets will be supplied.
