The annual Southern Hickory 4-Ball Championship, scheduled for April 16-18, has been cancelled by event host Tad Moore. His message follows:
Dear Southern Hickory players,
As you know the tournament is scheduled for a month from now, April 16-18. Even though the State of Alabama does not have a large number of COVID-19 cases, the governor has now put restrictions on people here. Because of this and the other concerns we all have, I have decided to cancel this year’s event. It might be possible to move to another date and I will look into it.
I am sorry to have to cancel, but your health and safety is the most important thing. Please contact me if you have any concerns or questions. I will get with you as soon as I can regarding the refund for your paid entries.
If I have any new information in the next few weeks regarding the event I will reach out to you. As always, thanks for your great support of my event.
