San Clemente players know how to celebrate a World Hickory Golf Day

World Hickory Golf Day was celebrated in a the best way possible in San Clemente, California. Participants came from around Orange and San Diego counties to join in the festivities.

Rick Perrault of San Clemente, Calif., got into the spirt of World Hickory Golf Day by inviting his hickory golf playing friends to enjoy the finer things in golf at the San Clemente Golf Club on May 7. Twelve players took him up on the offer and together they treated themselves to a great day of golf, with a two-person team competition, lots of laughs and good fun.

Designed in 1928 by William P. Bell, San Clemente is a beautiful muni course that styles itself as the “Pride of the Pacific.” The course is about a mile from the Pacific Ocean and features ocean views from a number of holes.

Perfect day, perfect setting with good friends – with all that going for them, every day is a World Hickory Golf Day for the San Clemente group.
