Tournament host Ken Holtz was pleased that threatening skies lightened up, but that winds and clouds offered a Scottish weather experience for the players. To the rest of the country, hammered by wintry blasts, that sounded pretty good.
Jeff Smith of Arkansas took the overall tournament title followed just a few strokes back by Ernie Ernst of Wisconsin.
