This new event on the hickory calendar for the northwest features two golf courses – the Oregon Golf Association Golf Course in Woodburn, and the Salem Golf Club in Salem. The OGA course was rated by Golf Digest in 1996 as a “One of the Top Ten Affordable Courses in the U.S.”
Saturday will be at the OGA members course, Sunday will be on the Salem Golf Club course.
Event fee is $125 and includes green fees, range balls, and prizes. Rental clubs are available for $25.
The 36-hole stroke play event is limited to 40 players in Men’s, Senior, Super Senior and Women’s divisions.
