The 6th annual New Hampshire Hickory Open treated 38 players from 10 different states to a gorgeous sunny day at Lake Sunapee CC in New London, N.H. Newcomer Peter Ruymann (Marshfield, Mass.) shot a 74 to nip last year’s Open winner Gary Pomichter of Pinehurst, N.C. by one shot. Two-time former champion AJ MacVie was third. On the Senior 60+ side, ‘Hickory’ Bill Geisler won with an 81, with Bill ‘Wardy’ Wardwell second and David Webster third. Women’s champion was again Ms. Marci Likens of Winter Springs, Fla. Low net was won by local player Mervin Baylon, followed by Will Bernazzani of Fla., and Louis Falcone from Rhode Island.
