Fine Golf examines the art of hickory golf

Fine Golf is a website that was created to promote the “running game,” that style of golf that approaches greens along the ground. It espouses a natural approach to greenkeeing, and a style of play that promotes creativity on courses that are not preeminently fair, rather that follow the natural lay of the land and mostly dry, bumpy and running.

While there, I urge you to take time to explore the Fine Golf website. Lorne’s writings, his examinations of what find golf could be, and other items will strike a chord in the hickory golfer’s soul. His list of courses is devoted to fine golf in the U.K. Perhaps someone in the U.S. will take up the idea and list fine golf courses on this side of the Atlantic.
