The Connecticut Hickory Golf Association is pleased to announce its second annual Goodwin Gutty Open at Goodwin Park Golf Course.  Tee times will begin at 11 a.m.  Join us for a casual and fun introduction to hickory and gutty golf this fall!  Period attire is not required but is encouraged. Play will be divided into two flights: Gutty (pre-1905 equipment) and “Modern” (pre-1935 equipment) and will consist of nine holes on the historic North course (the “flat nine”).  After a lunch break (pay your way) and awards, golfers are invited to play another casual nine in the afternoon.

For the “Gutty” flight, a registration fee of $45 will include 18 holes of golf, one McIntyre gutta percha “Park” line-cut ball, and awards.  For the “Modern” flight, the registration fee covers eighteen holes of golf, a sleeve of Wright & Ditson square mesh balls, and awards.  Click here for more information.
