2024 Keeper of the Spirit Gutty Challenge
July 18 - July 20
The 10th annual Keeper of the Spirit Gutty Golf Challenge is scheduled again for the Eagle Springs Golf Resort in Eagle, Wisc. This unique pre-1900 gutty challenge and its Keeper of the Spirit Award is presented in honor of Mike Just.
The course opened for play in 1893, after the depression in 1929 the golf course was cut to 9 holes. About 90% of the historic layout remains intact. Recently acclaimed the 23rd best 9-hole course in the world. In 2022 Eagle Springs was rated in the top 20 golf courses in Wisconsin; it was the only 9-hole course on the list.

Schedule of events:
Thursday, July 18: Registration. Practice rounds, call golf shop 262-594-2462. Pay the course directly. We need to be off the course by 5 p.m. As in past years, this is the time to play your alternate-shot grudge matches.
Friday, July 19: Morning shotgun. Lunch at the course after play. Complimentary trade tables available for buying, selling, bartering or bragging.
Saturday, July 20: Morning shotgun. Lunch at the course followed by awards presentation.
