The Danish Golf Historical Society will host the annual European Association of Golf Historians and Collectors (EAGHC) meeting, at the Danish Golf Museum, in Vejle, Denmark. Meetings wil lbe on Wednesday, Aug. 31 through Friday, Sept. 2.
On the Sept. 3, the 2016 Danish Hickory Championship will be played at Fano Golf Links, the most original and oldest golf course in Denmark. The course hosted the first Danish Open in 1901. The course is one of the very few real links courses on the continent and it is really worth a visit.
This is a great opportunity to visit the fantastic old FANØ Golf Links (1898), as we will arrange bus transport Saturday morning from Denmarks Golf Museum in Vejle to Fanø island and back in the late afternoon.
Sunday will be the annual EAGHC tournament, this year played at the old Kolding Golf Course.
On Sept. 4, the EAGHC tournament will be played at Kolding Golf Club. More information will follow.
