On the 14th of May a group of 23 players participated in the 2022 Open Danish Hickory Championship – this year played at Elsinore Golf Club. Due to covid, the tournament has been cancelled since 2019; however, due to all restrictions now lifted we had a lovely day at the old and challenging Elsinore golf course.
Gross winner was Olle Dahlgren from Falsterbo Golf Club with 84 gross. Runner up Jonas Fack, from Fya Golf Club, posted an 86 gross.

First – Stefan Kjell from Rya Golf Club 78 net
Second – Mikael Lindman from Helsingborg Golf Club 79 net (best on back 9)
Third – Johan Persson from Helsingborg Golf Club 79
The course set up was really difficult and all players struggled with the long course, fast greens and hard wind. On the plus side, it was a lovely spring day with plenty of sunshine.
