Mitch Laurance of Myrtle Beach, S.C. launched a “Hooked on Hickories” radio show with guest Ben Wright. Mitch, who was also the first member profiled in the SoHG Member Profile series (see attached PDF), is a commentator for ESPN Championship Billiards, an actor, television host, and producer of On The Green Video Showcase from Myrtle Beach. Mitch hopes to produce a radio show that will reveal why modern hickory golf can serve as a true connection to the essence of the game. Over time, he plans to tell the stories and rich histories of the people and places that have made, and continue to make, the game great.
