HICKORY GOLF IN SOUTH AUSTRALIA

Cheers to the members of the Fleurieu Hickory Golfers, a newly formed South Australian hickory golfing society. The members held their inaugural event on Friday, Aug. 26 at Victor Harbor Golf Club. On a beautiful mid-winter afternoon, eight players participated in a 9-hole non-competitive round and great fun was had by all.

Established in 1911, Victor Harbor Golf Club is the oldest of a number of outstanding courses on beautiful Fleurieu Peninsula. Situated about an hour’s drive south of state capital Adelaide, the peninsula adjoins the world renowned McLaren Vale wine region and provides a gateway to the remarkable natural playground of Kangaroo Island.
