Event host David Webster reports:
The 5th annual New Hampshire Hickory Open enjoyed great weather and a record field of 45 players from 14 different states, plus one very special visitor.
Mary Ann Sarazen, 88, the daughter of ‘The Squire’, Gene Sarazen, came out to watch us tee off and join the group photo. She was joined by her daughter Patty.
The 2025 Open division winner was Mr. Gary Pomichter, formerly of Vermont, now of Pinehurst, N.C., with a 77. He was followed one shot back by Will Bernazzani of Mt. Dora, Fla. Senior winner was yours truly with an 81 followed one shot back by Bill Geisler and Billy Wardwell. Marci Likens of Winter Springs, Fla., was the Women’s champion.
We look forward to doing this again next year; the course is magnificent and the club is a gracious awesome host.
