Wisconsin’s “Copper Cup Clan” celebrated the occasion in style at the Scenic View Golf Course in Slinger.
Of the 38 golfers, 16 women participated in a 9-hole scramble; nine players in a 65-and-older gutty competition; and 13 in a modern hickory event with eight seniors and five in the Open division.
“We had hole prizes, and our very own Teddy Stevenson had on hole-in-one on our closest-to-the-pin hole,” said event host Michael Brown. “The ladies posted some great scores, too. The four teams brought in scores of 43, 41, 40, and 35 for the winners – Mary Majers, Cheryl Bosch, Chris Botticchio, and Wendy Warner.
“In the modern hickory competition, everyone played off the yellow tee box at 5,500 yards. We try to make our event as fun and playable for everyone.”
