2023 Onion Creek won by Cole Houghton

Played over the Onion Creek Golf Course in Austin, Texas. Pete League reports: In the Swift Cup Results on March 25, the Texas Team beat the North American Team by 20 to 11. Texas Team Captain was Ken Jackson; Dennis MacIntyre for the North America Team. Five teams competed in the Texas First Tee Hickory Championship with the Dallas Chapter taking the victory. Players ion that team included Jacob Lewallen, Brooks Frietas, David Pyle, and John Tijerina.

In the Onion Creek Championship, Lori Wallace was the ladies champion, followed by Lou Ann Brossman and Jill English. Ken Jackson was the Senior champion, followed by Dave Hanson and Danny Holcomb. Doug Shackleford took the Statesmen title, followed by John Hutton and Deal Hudson. And in the Championship Division, Cole Houghton was the victor, followed by Robert Cox and Bill Houghton. Our Scramble competition victors were the team of  Scott Pilgrim, Blair Philip, Gary Krupkin, and Michael Sloan. The Tad Moore Award for a younger player with playing ability and respect for the traditions of the game went to Ryan Galloway. The Johnny Henry Award for a member of the Golf Heritage Society with the low net score in the 60+ category was John Drake. And the Russ Fischer Award for the outstanding volunteer also went to John Drake.
