2022 Lake Sunapee Hickory Classic

July 14
Lake Sunapee CC
New London, N.H.

The second annual Lake Sunapee Hickory Classic in beautiful New London, N.H., is scheduled for  Thursday, July 14, with tee times starting at 10 am.

Organizer David Webster says it will include Low Gross and Net Stableford scoring to accommodate all players. Fee will be $80. Food will be available after golf, a la carte in the clubhouse bar/restaurant.

Lake Sunapee CC is a private 1928 Donald Ross design that has stood the test of time, and is always in pristine condition in the summer months. New London and LSCC were also the longtime summer home and club of “The Squire,” Gene Sarazen, in the last 30-ish years of his life. The inaugural Classic, July 2021, drew 22 players from eight different U.S. states, a sign that word is getting around about the great course, the hospitality of the hosts, and the lovely setting.

Organizers confirm that a companion event will be held two days later on Saturday July 16 – the 5th White Mountains Hickory Open at the Mt Washington resort, Bretton Woods, N.H.
