2021 Wisconsin Gutty Golf Challenge

July 15-17
Eagle Springs Golf Resort
Eagle, Wisc.

This pre-1900 gutty challenge is a natural fit for the venerable 1893 Eagle Springs Golf Resort in Eagle, Wisc. As the course grew to 18 holes, it is believed that Tom Bendelow, who worked for the AG Spalding Golf Company in Chicago, was the course architect. After the Great Depression began in 1929 the golf course was cut to 9-holes. Today, approximately 90% of the historic layout remains intact.

This will be the 7th annual WGC. A highlight of the event is the Mike Just “Keeper of the Spirit” award presented to a player who embodies the spirit of golf that Mike Just shared with all of us for many years.
