2021 Oregon Hickory Open a delight on OGA course

The July 31-Aug. 1 event hosted 29 players who found the Oregon Golf Association Golf Course a true delight to play. This public golf course is located in Woodburn, Ore., and was rated by Golf Digest in 1996 as a “One of the Top Ten Affordable Courses in the U.S.” That was on Saturday. On Sunday the players moved to the Salem Golf Club where it all came down to the short game and putting. Mark Keating, the pro at the OGA course, was on his game and took the Open Division honors with a two-day 148 total. The Open Net winner was Brent Hudgins. Seniors winner was John Henry Williams, with Martin Pool taking Senior net honors. The Statesmen Division champ was Steve Malmquist, with Stephen Franich Jr. the net winner. For the Ladies, Roberta Robbins was the Open champion with Pam Rowland the net victor.

Congratulations to all. We look forward to another splendid outing next year!
