Hickories in the mountains at inaugural White Mountain Classic

July 8, 2017 – The inaugural playing of the White Mountain Hickory Classic was met with curiosity and enthusiasm at the beautiful and historic Omni Mount Washington Hotel. Seventeen players teed it up in knickers and button-down shirts under the Stableford scoring system. After a 20-minute rain shower, the weather cleared making for a comfortable day for hickory golf in New Hampshire’s beautiful mountains.

1st Place – Jack Crosby 29 points
2nd Place – Roy Lavender 28 Points
3rd Place – Bill Wardwell 28 Points
Net:
1st Place – Allen Johnson + 8
2nd Place – Bill Waters + 7
3rd Place – John Foster + 5
The low gross score submitted was by Bill Wardwell who carded an 80.
