Built in 1932, Svratka Golf Club is celebrating the 85th anniversary of the club and 70th anniversary of the course.
Start: 10: a.m. from hole No. 1 or shotgun – depending on the number of players
Form of Play: The Championship will be decided by brutto – stroke play – over 18 holes according to the lowest score. In case of a tie for the 1st place in brutto categories a Sudden Death play-off played on holes No. 1 and 2 will decide. Tie for other places or categories will be decided by the better score for the last 9, 6, 3 and 1 hole.
Eligibility: The tournament is open to all players, amateurs as well as professionals.
Categories: The following prizes will be awarded:
First three players brutto (Championship Category)
First three players netto (Hickory handicap of 1.5 multiple of the standard handicap will be used, maximum handicap 36.0)
Best lady amateur player (brutto)
Tees: Gentlemen – Yellow
Ladies – Red
Clubs: Only clubs with wooden shafts made before 1935 are allowed. Shaft replicas are accepted but club heads have to be original. Later replicas of clubs are not welcomed. In case of doubts, tournament committee shall decide. Rental clubs (5 clubs + bag) will be available on previous request. Detailed information you will find in the Application form. In case of interest regarding the clubs rental please place your order (within the entry form) two weeks prior to the tournament at latest!
Balls: Modern balls are allowed nevertheless play with hickory clubs requires the use of soft golf balls only (thus lowering the risk of club breakage). Replicas of historic golf balls made from soft materials will be available for sale prior to the tournament. Contemporary soft balls are also acceptable (ladies’ balls, other modern soft versions etc.). Soft balls are mandatory in the case of playing with the rental clubs!
Dress: Fitting historic outfit is welcomed but not required. The “Best dressed golfer” will be voted by the participants as usual.

Notes: Hickory clubs, bags and balls both for play and display only will be available for sale prior to and after the play.

Other Notes: The Championship is organized as a part of the anniversary celebrations. In case of enough interested players an an international match over 9 holes will be organized on Friday afternoon as a part of the practice for the championship.
