Norwegian Hickory Championships
August 31
Turn back the clock 100 years and celebrate Oslo Golf Club’s centenary year in style. Two hickory championships are being presented:
The 2024 Norwegian Open Hickory Championship (gross)
The 2024 Oslo Golf Club Open Hickory Championship (net)
We welcome the best Norwegian and international hickory players and encourage newcomers to join the fun.
Format
The Championships will be played in four classes.
- The 2024 Norwegian Open Hickory Championship
- Ladies – 18 holes stroke play, Maximum Score (Rule 21.2), par +5, gross competition
- Gentlemen – 18 holes stroke play, Maximum Score (Rule 21.2), par +5, gross competition
- The 2024 Oslo Golf Club Open Hickory Championship
- Ladies – 18 holes stroke play, Maximum Score (Rule 21.2), par +5, handicap competition with 100 % handicap allowance
- Gentlemen – 18 holes stroke play, Maximum Score (Rule 21.2), par +5, handicap competition with 100 % handicap allowance
All players will compete for the 2024 Norwegian Open Hickory Championship.
All players except the top three (ladies and gentlemen) in the 2024 Norwegian Open Hickory Championship will also be considered for (compete in) the 2024 Oslo Golf Club Open Hickory Championship.
Entries
To sign up for the competitions (individually) please use the competition entry link in GolfBox. If you are not able to put in your entry by GolfBox, send an e-mail with all your contact information, by 20 August at the latest, to aronsen@oslogk.no, ph +47 938 44 985.
There is an entrance fee of NOK 900 for the Championship. Discount to OGK members. The entrance fee has to be paid with the competition entry in GolfBox.
Oslo Golf Club offers a discounted green fee rate of NOK 1 000,- for practice (18 holes) on Friday 30. Please, pay the greenfee in the Proshop upon arrival.
1924 Dinner
The Championship dinner and the award ceremony will be held on 31 August at 7 p.m. for players and guests. If you wish to attend, please sign up for the dinner at the same time as you sign up for the competition. A dinner ticket covering a welcome drink, a three-course meal and coffee (but no further beverages) at NOK 850.
