2026 Nebraska Opening Day
The NEHGA Hickory Opening Day Event will be a 2-person Best Ball competition held at Omaha’s Elmwood Park.
May 3 is World Hickory Golf Day, so don’t miss this opportunity!
Tee times will begin at 10 a.m. You are encouraged to invite someone new to hickory golf. There will be prizes for low gross and low net teams. One team cannot win both prizes. Maximum low gross score is a double bogey.
GHIN handicaps only will be used to determine low net scores. Maximum low net score is a net double bogey. Ties will be determined by score card playoff. Teams will submit two scores…Low Gross total and Low Net total. Men will play from the Black Tees and Ladies will play from the Red Tees.

The $60 entry fee includes golf cart.
