2024 German Open Hickory Championship

Dear International Hickory Golfers,
Following the tradition of the first two German Open Championships in 1911 and 1912, our journey this year takes us to Bad Homburg, where British aristocrats were already swinging golf clubs as early as 1889. Ten years later, the Homburg Golf Club was founded and since 2013, by decree of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, has been granted the royal patronage hence becoming the Royal Homburger Golf Club.
On Friday afternoon we will play over Germany’s oldest golf course, from 1889, with six holes remaining in the Homburger Kurpark. Saturday and Sunday will see the championship being played on Royal Homburger Golf Club New Course, 18 holes each day, stroke-play, maximum score double par plus 1 according to rule 21.2a.
