Denny and Cathy Lane, makers of those top-notch feather balls, are again hosting the Oddball Tournament, a whimsical name for playing golf with those very golf balls. The event takes place in April at the Hillcrest Golf in Washington, Ill.

The Lanes are marvelous hosts and promise two solid days of feather ball golf, fellowship, fun, and food. Among their goals for this year are additional holes of golf, an interesting and memorable format of holes, and the continuation of the foursome format and the captaincy.

If you have not yet tried feathery golf, you are in for a treat as the experience takes the golfer back to the traditions and spirit of the game in the mid-1800s. Not easy, but all great fun and in good company.
