Tournament Information

The Wyandotte Hickory Organization and the Wyandotte Recreation Department invite you to participate in our annual 18-hole hickory medal play championship.  Wyandotte Shores Golf Course is a nine-hole links-type course located on the Detroit River about seven miles south downriver from the Ambassador Bridge which connects Detroit and Windsor, Canada.  Holes eight and nine run along the river where you often see high school crew (rowing) teams honing their skills.  The Detroit skyline can be clearly seen from these same holes weather permitting.  When the Matthews Group designed the course 19 years ago, they must have had hickory golf in mind.  All the holes are bunkered, but also allow for a bump and run to the green.  The day is sure to be a delightful hickory experiencePeriod dress is enthusiastically encouraged.

Come join in the fun of a morning of hickory golf and camaraderie.

Cost: $50 a person – Includes 18 holes, cart, lunch and awards.

Awards: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards for gross play and net play in the following divisions:  Open,  Senior (60+),  Statesmen (70+), and Ladies.  Closest to the pin on par threes.
