DESCRIPTION:Sang Jun Oh\, chairman of the Korea Hickory Golfing Society\, is very pleased to announce the inaugural Korea Hickory Open Golf Championship\, scheduled for Sept. 13-15 at the  Dongwon Hillmaru Country Club in Pocheon\, Gyeonggi-do\, South Korea. \nDay 1: Sunday\, Sept. 13\nAfternoon: Team Event (Canadian Foursome)\nEvening: Welcome Dinner (at a local restaurant near the golf course)\nDay 2: Monday\, Sept. 14\n9 a.m.: Individual Tournament – Round 1\nEvening: Gala Dinner & Live Performance (at the golf club restaurant)\nDay 3: Tuesday\, Sept. 15\n8 a.m.: Individual Tournament – Round 2\nAfternoon: Luncheon & Awards Ceremony (at the golf club) \nEstimated Costs (Per Person\, U.S. equivalents are approximate)\n1. Golf Fees\nSunday (Team Event): Green Fee 230\,000 KRW ($150 U.S.) / Cart Fee 25\,000 KRW ($16 U.S.)/ Caddie Fee 40\,000 KRW ($26 U.S.)\nWeekdays (Individual): Green Fee 170\,000 KRW (per day) ($110 U.S.)/ Cart & Caddie fees are the same as Sunday.\nNote: All golf\, accommodation\, and food/beverage expenses are to be paid directly to the golf club. \n2. SUMMARY:2026 China Hickory Open
DESCRIPTION:The 2026 China Hickory Open will be played at the Jockey Club Kau Sai Chao Public Golf Course (KSC) in November 2026. The Jockey Club KSC is the first and only public golf course in Hong Kong. It was built in 1994-1995 with funds donated by the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust. \nThe online preregistration is now open for the 3rd China Hickory Open Championship! It will be played at the beautiful Jockey KSC Public Golf Course in Hong Kong. A national team competition will be featured at the walk-only North Course on the 16th and the two-day Open Championship will be held at the South Course on the 17th-18th. We will be working on an optional play at the East Course or another Hong Kong golf course for the 19th. \nA registration deadline on Oct. 15 and an upper limit of 80 golfers will be strictly enforced on a first-come first-serve basis for the three-day event. \nClick here for a registration form and complete information\, in both Chinese and English. \nSave the dates and follow us on www.cnhickorygolfers.com! \nThe KSC Public Golf Course does not have lodging facilities. Players will travel by the Golf Course’s dedicated ferry at the Sai Kung Piers\, which takes about 25 minutes each way. The Organizing Committee has signed an agreement with the WM Hotel Hong Kong\, which will offer group rates for participants. The WM Hotel is conveniently located next to the dedicated ferry pier\, with only 6-7 minutes of walking distance. It is the only hotel most conveniently located for participants to play at the 3rd China Hickory Open. KSC boasts three 18-hole courses: East\, North\, and South. \nClick here to read about a recent visit to the North and South courses by members of the Society of China Hickory Golfers. \n \nThe East Course is a par-72 18-hole hilly course designed by Nelson & Haworth with a total length of 6\,640 yards\, playable with a with a golf cart. \nThe North Course is a par-72 18-hole course designed by Gary Player with a total length of 6\,719 yards. This is a walking course as if built specifically for hickory golfers. \nThe South Course\, where the 2026 China Hickory Open will be played\, is the shortest of the three\, a par-69 18-hole course of 5\,906 yards also designed by Gary Player. Players can play the course either walking or with a cart.
