Michiana Hickory Open

South Bend Country Club
South Bend, Ind.

Join the Golf Heritage Society and the Society of Hickory Golfers for the seventh annual Michiana Hickory Open and Trade Fair. This year’s event has moved to the South Bend Country Club, designed by George O’Neil in 1916. It hosted the Western Open in 1935 and is a section qualifier for the U.S. Open. Tommy Armour called it “the sweetheart golf course of the Midwest.”

A trade fair is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. on Saturday in the clubhouse. A limited number of tables are available for $20 each. Proceeds will benefit the GHS Young Collectors grant fund.

Golf begins at 12:30 p.m. (EST) with a modified shotgun start. A $10 box lunch is available and a brief awards ceremony will follow play.

Divisions of play include Open, Senior, Statesmen, and Scramble. The cost is $65 per player. Hickory clubs will be available to rent.
