2021 Arizona Desert Hickory Classic

Feb. 27-28
Pebblebrook and Grandview Golf Courses
Sun City West, Ariz.

This is the ninth year for this great western hickory golf outing. It’s a popular event that annually attracts upwards of 70-90 players from around the country, many looking to Arizona for a winter retreat.  The SoHG’s original desert commander, Gen. Ken Holtz-kopf is not thinking of retreat, however, he is full steam ahead for the AZDH Classic and plans are already laid. Enter and book your travel plans now is his recommended order of the day. Well, at least do so by Feb. 5, the entry deadline. Early entries are appreciated.

“We will have multiple hickory play divisions for gross and net winners. Lots of awards, fun and food,” says General Holtz. “Just ask those who played last year … we had a wonderful time! And if you are “New to Hickory Golf” we will have a separate division just for you. Please come and join in the fun and try the hickory golf experience. Connect with the past and have a blast.”

General Holtz is well aware of ongoing Covid precautions and writes that “as CV-19 restrictions evolve we will keep everyone posted on scheduled events and timing. As of now, all has been reserved and we plan to have plenty of fun.”
