The 1st annual Glenmoor Hickory Open Championship is presented by Tri-State Hickory Golf.
“Glenmoor Country Club is a signature Jack Nicklaus design that combines challenge and beauty in perfect harmony,” says event organizer Bob Glass. “Surrounded by rolling hills, sparkling lakes and majestic native trees, this incredible course provides a challenge for all golfers of all skill levels. It also is an excellent course for hickory golf.”
The Hickory Open Championship will offer Open, Senior, and Ladies Divisions. If necessary a “New to Hickory Golf” division will be added as well as a Super Senior division. Sunday morning before play begins there will be opportunities to “Buy – Sell – Trade” hickory clubs as well as demonstrations on different aspects of hickory golf club repair. After play is completed there will be lunch and an awards presentation. There is an option for a practice round on Saturday, July 7 as well as a package for play and stay at the beautiful Glenmoor Bertram Inn.
