This classic of modern hickory in the northwest celebrates in 126th anniversary this year. Members and entrants will play together on the 20th for that celebration. The 21-22 dates are the 36-hole medal play tournament. The morning of the 21st is a trade show and sale. All are welcome.
The historic Gearhart Golf Links, Gearhart, Ore. is the site for this 36-hole, two-day event. There will be four divisions for competition:
- Open Championship (gross and net)
- Senior, 60 and over, (gross and net)
- Women
- Super- Senior (over 70)
All divisions will play 18 holes of medal play each day to determine a winner. Prizes will be awarded in each division. A dinner will follow the Saturday round, and an Award Ceremony will follow play on Sunday. Tournament rounds are scheduled as shotguns for 1 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. on Sunday. The shotgun format allows the course to allow member play both days, not interfering with our event.
