Sept. 21-23, 2017
Links Course, The Golf Courses of Lawsonia
Green Lake, Wisc.

To begin, everyone in Wisconsin would like to thank all of you who attended and participated in the 2016 U.S. Hickory Open.  The weather was perfect and the venue was in great condition. Congratulations to all the winners.

Now we are happy to welcome hickory players from across the United States to gather in beautiful Green Lake, Wisc. for the 7th annual Wisconsin Hickory Open. Please come and enjoy the company of friends and the challenges of the famous Links course at The Golf Courses of Lawsonia, a championship course hailed as one of the most celebrated and challenging courses in the Midwest.

Designed by William Langford & Theodore Moreau and built in 1930 on the former Victor Lawson estate, most holes on the Links course were built as replicas of Scottish & English golf course holes, strongly resembling courses played in the British Open. It features gently rolling terrain, bent grass fairways, and multi-tiered, unusually elevated, moderately fast greens that are surrounded by about 90 strategically placed steep bunkers. There’s deep rough, too, and large snaking sand traps. The purists who love links golf will really appreciate this course.

We look forward to you joining us in competition and friendship for a unique golfing experience. One you won’t forget.
