Tournament Information
The California Hickory "North-South" will be held on June 30-July 1, 2012. This event is a two-day hickory golf tournament to be held on the 1932 Chandler Egan designed Pacific Grove Golf Links. Pacific Grove Golf Links is known as “the poor man’s Pebble Beach” and for good reason. The course is on the northwestern tip of the Monterey peninsula, about 5 miles from Pebble Beach. The Pacific Ocean and Monterey Bay views are visible from almost every hole on the course, with the links-style back 9 situated right along the coast. A par 70 from just over 5,700 yards, this course is great for hickory play and is very walkable. Oh, and while most of the country is roasting in the summer heat, the average day time high temperature at tournament time is a nice 66 degrees!

Travel Information
The Monterey Peninsula is one of the most beautiful places in our country. It is a great place to arrive early or stay late for a small vacation. There are many attractions and sites to see before, during, or after golf. Pebble Beach golf links (and many other beautiful courses), 17 mile drive, Monterey Bay Aquarium, Canery Row, Fisherman’s Wharf, etc. San Francisco is also about 100 miles north.
Lodging - IMPORTANT!!!! You will be responsible for finding your place to stay! There are many small hotels and Bed & Breakfast inns within 5 miles of the golf course (and many are within 1 mile).
