The SoHG is currently revising and updating its bylaws and operations. Inititives include a new constitution, and equipment committees and guidelines for pre-1935 and pre-1905 (definition and date will probably change) clubs and equipment.

Amateur Status guidelines
In all SoHG approved tournaments the SoHG offers a medal for the low gross amateur score with authentic (non-replica) hickory clubs. This document sets out the definition of 'amateur'.
Board Member Profiles
Board members of the SoHG are either appointed by the current board or elected by the membership. All board members pledge to further the cause of hickory golf.
