2013 CHGA Hickory Haggis Cup

Tournament Information

The 8th annual Carolina Hickory Golf Association (CHGA) match play championship is played over two days on the Donald J. Ross course at Southern Pines CC. The champion will win the coveted Hickory Haggis Cup.

This event is open to all CHGA members. If you are not yet a member, you are invited to join by visiting our web site at www.carolinahickory.com and paying a one-time membership fee of $100. Players play off their established hickory handicaps or off their USGA handicap with no adjustments. Each player will play four 9 hole matches with each hole being worth one point and each 9 hole match being worth one point. The player with the most points after four rounds is declared the Match Play Champion and must eat a haggis and hold it down for at least 15 minutes.
